Game Improvement / Golf Lessons
Bio
Danny is originally from Roberts and has found himself back here doing what he loves - golf. Dan is the stepson of John Means, Hall of Fame golf coach, who has coached golf his entire adult life at schools including a decade as head coach of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. Danny grew up around golf and began playing at the age of eight. Danny started competing at age 11 and found himself at the state level of competition. After graduating from college, Danny put golf on the back burner as he wanted to travel and learn more about cultures in other countries. He missed playing and competing and made the decision to get back to golf; working around a passion and purpose in a career that doesn't feel like a job. Dan is an accomplished player and still competes at the state level. He has taught juniors as well as adults the last few years for the John Means Golf Camps & Schools, which are held at the White Eagle Golf Club in Hudson, Wisconsin, in June of each year. Dan really enjoys helping people get better at their game by understanding the fundamentals and work/practice required to get to the next level and welcomes you to contact him for lessons..

Goals
“My goal as an instructor is to provide a service that will help you understand and enjoy the game more. Over the years, many golfers have developed bad habits that must be corrected to form a solid foundation for the game. You will not be provided with a “band aid” approach. In each lesson, basic fundamentals in your swing and short game will be taught and drilled until they are understood. I believe in being thorough and adapting to the learning style of each individual. I would like you to not only understand how to do things correctly, but where the problems came from so you can identify them when you are practicing on your own. Just like in life, you learn more from your mistakes than successes. When you can identify the mistake and where the problem originated is when you can make the proper correction. After each lesson, I want Golf is compiled with life lessons that will test you physically and mentally, which is the reason why I love it so much. If you are interested in bringing your game to the next level or just want to have more fun when you are playing, I would love the opportunity to instruct you on the steps in the process of how to accomplish that success. I look forward to hearing from you!”
